MMUF: THE MAYBELLINE MAKEUP FAIR
Hi Lovely People, my blog is meant to be undergoing 'reconstruction' (which is the reason why I haven't posted in a while), but am so excited and just couldn't help but post this *winks
The Maybelline Master Class/ Makeup Fair took place today, and I put this post together for you - just in case you missed it.
As expected, the turn out was massive with Makeup Lovers, Makeup Artists, Celebrity Makeup Artists etc in attendance.
Before I continue, let me point out things I learnt from the Highlighting and Contouring Master Class.
After applying your nose highlight and contor, ensure you blend the visible lines away using your finger tips.
Apply foundation following the direction of growth of the hair/ facial hair
Blend, Blend , Blend- no one wants to see/notice the line of demarcation in a highlight/contouring technique.
H n C is a powerful weapon for a professional Makeup Artist
Maybelline's COCOA is great for contoring technique..
Pin-up inspired look which I rocked for the event.
Clip of Maybelline products used during the training
Mrs Bimpe Onakoya (CEO POPS Concept/ Maybelline NG) doing her thing.
Faces of Nigerian Makeup Artists/ Makeup Lovers willing and ready to learn
A massive turn out it was.. glad I was there.
Tara Fela-Durotoye (Orekelewa) and Makeup Artists.
Tara n I (I love her simplicity)
Dada Yemisi of Nsure Beauty Studio (a mentor n pacesetter) n I.
In conclusion, it was an opportunity to learn, mingle and network. Am glad I didn't miss it. xx
